I also heart the organic cotton I Heart tee from District Cotton.
Y'know what makes a great stocking stuffer? Jewelry. There's nothing better than finding that one surprise last gift -- a box of sparkliness -- wedged between Clementines in a felt sock hanging from the fireplace. I've been admiring these Kris Nations earrings made of recycled gold and vintage beads. Pretty fab, no?
I'm a sucker for bud vases and tea lights, so it's easy to see why I'm loving the ceramic goods offered by Bodanna Studio & Gallery. Less obvious? The fact that Bodanna is a nonprofit organization that teaches inner-city youth in NYC valuable workplace skills such as product design, production, sales, and marketing. Each Bodanna piece is handmade by youth in a ceramics studio in the East Village. Check out the offerings over at Bodanna.org!

Thanks, DailyCandy SF, for finding and writing-up the gorgeous Flock Home linens by designer Gina Pericini today! I'm in love with the all of the prints...hand-printed on eco-friendly materials with non-toxic dyes!
One of my fave home stores in NYC, ABC Home, now lets you purchase gift certificates/donations to more than 25 environmental and social nonprofits. Certificates arrive in gorgeous pouches made from vintage silk saris...meaning no wrapping paper needed! Check out the list of organizations and purchase certificates at ABChomeandplanet.org.
Oh happy, happy day! I heart America.
Now that November has rolled into our lives, it's time to think warmth. I'm digging Bula's wool-blend, recycled-micro-fleece-lined beanie with the cute lil' bow detail. It kinda reminds me of an '08 version of the hat Angelina wears in Changeling. OK, admittedly, that's a stretch. But! They're both cute and they're both hats.
